AimTrak Bluetooth Kit not working on Win 11 |
(1/1) |
hycday:
Hi everyone, In a big cleaning journey, I found out I had ordered long time ago two AimTrak Bluetooth Upgrade Kits. So I went ahead and started modifying my two AimTrak to remove that long USB cable and make the whole thing even better. Mod is done, but when I plug the CSR 4.0 dongle on my Windows 11, it flashes blue, and in Device Manager I see "Generic Bluetooth Radio" with the yellow thingy. I saw on that page the instructions https://www.ultimarc.com/light-guns/aimtrak-accessories/aimtrak-bluetooth-upgrade-kit/ and on that page https://www.ultimarc.com/light-guns/aimtrak-accessories/bluetooth-4.0-usb-dongle-for-bluehid-aimtrak/ the drivers. However, instructions say to not install the drivers for Win 8 and 10 (so I also assume Win 11). I tried to aim, but nothing is detected. So I went ahead and tried to install the CSR driver, and I get an error "csrcplhelper.exe.mui Verify that you have access to that directory" (seems to be a famous thing online, as per https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/all/error-writing-to-file-cwindowssystem32en/63a9918e-cc39-4be6-b76b-1f31947103f8 and many other links, but zero clear answer on what how to fix). So my question is : how do you make AimTrak with Bluetooth Upgrade Kit work on Windows 11 ? what should I do to make the CSR dongle work ? Thanks for your help ! |
