CRT Emudriver - Multiple CRT TVs

(1/2) > >>

PhalanxFormation:
Guys, I have a question;

I have a PC dedicated to the CRT Emudriver with an AMD R7 240 GPU that only has one analog output. The question is: I'm about to buy another CRT TV dedicated to vertical gaming (TATE) and I would like to know the smartest way to connect the new TV to my GPU. Would it be easier for me to buy a component cable splitter where the GPU would send the same signal directly to both TVs? I count on your help. Thanks!

Hi
Another option would be to search for an extron mvx XX vga where XX are 2 numbers that indicate how many inputs and outputs it has.
For example extron mvx 44 vga with 4 inputs and 4 outputs.

Adding displays without signal amplification means a weaker image on all displays. There are extrons and switches and whatnot that can do this for you.

If you are keen, you could build a basic video amp for a few bucks out of the THS7314/7316 or THS7374.  These ICs are video amplifiers theoretically capable of outputting at high enough levels to serve two displays at once. I'd probably build it a little differently, but it is a good start and should work. Might be a bit mcuh for most people though.

If you don't need both displays at the same time then maybe a KVM switch?

I'm currently have Radeon with two analog outputs but for the future I'm planning motherboard with two PCIx16 and two graphics cards. Configuration untested and it will be a bit expensive but should work in theory.

I seen people use VGA Splitters with good results
