Golden Tee98

I have this arcade game, bought on a whim at an auction. Machine boots but has white lines across screen.  On another page was told to throw a 60-1 jamma board in it. It works but can't control anything with track ball mouse. I'd like to get it back to golf game. Is that old golden tee board fixable? I believe i read somewhere to rebuild some kind of "caps". I'm pretty handy on a lot of things so I'm not scared to soldier new parts to this board. Just need some kind of shoves in the right direction for parts and doing it.
