HANTAREX POLO 2 15KHZ, shutdown automatically
« on: September 04, 2024, 08:23:35 pm »
Hi everyone,

I'm having an issue with my Hantarex Polo 2 15khz chassis 220V europ, and I'm hoping someone can help me troubleshoot it.

The monitor powers on fine, but after about 3 seconds, it shuts down automatically when connected to the tube and yoke. If the chassis is not plugged into the tube, it stays on without any issues. Additionally, I noticed that if I disconnect the yoke, the chassis stays on as well.

I also observed that when it shuts down, the B+ voltage spikes up to around 170 volts. I’m not sure what might be causing this, and I would appreciate any guidance on where to start looking for the problem.

Here’s what I’ve tried so far:

Checked the power supply - Everything seems fine, it's delivering the correct voltage, B+ 135v

Inspected for obvious damage - I didn’t notice any blown capacitors or burnt components,

Has anyone else encountered this issue before? Any tips on what might be causing the shutdown or how to diagnose it further?

Thanks in advance for your help!
