Well I finally figured out the problem so hopefully this helps someone in the future. My buddy told me to check out ProcMon to get more details on what was failing, and before it ended the thread, it was looking for 2 DLL's that it could not find. MSVCP140.DLL VCRUNTIME140.DLL I had them in my sys32 directory but it was looking for the 64 bit version in syswow64, and it wasn't there. So I googled and it turns out it is included "Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2015, 2017 and 2019" and I installed the 64bit and 32bit ones just in case. And after that and a reboot, it is now working with the hacked dlls. So that was my problem the whole time and hopefully it can help someone else in the future as well. |
