Running Steam games on GroovyArcade
« on: March 04, 2023, 07:47:40 am »
I’m trying to make my cab a “full” arcade cab, so I want to add Naomi games and some Steam games (Street Fighter V and GGST for instance) to attract mode.
I have a R9 270x 4GB connect to a 31 kHz monitor via DVI-I and everything is working perfectly while launching MAME games, but when I access the desktop option on gasetup (for installing Steam games), only the VGA monitor is recognized by xrandr.

Any help on this?

Thank you very much.

You need to switch to X instead of KMS first, because Steam can't run on KMS. Then .... well ... no idea ...Something with steam steam://rungameid/{YourGameID} but I'm not sure how you'd get the gameid from AM in that case.
