  • I want to build my own arcade controls!
Recently I've been having an issue where no matter the controller I use, the left analog stick has severe sensitivity issues. It's impossible to make precise movements as the stick won't register any movement until the moment it registers 100% of the movement. Last night I was able to temporarily fix it but sure enough today it was back to being broken.

So far I've tried different versions of MAME (Groovy and the main one) different controllers (wired/wireless), deadzone settings within the emulator itself as well as the ini file. I'm completely lost as well as frustrated. I had just installed a rotating monitor stand for portrait mode to really get into shmups right before this started so you can imagine the desire to fix this.

Thanks for any help you can give.
