Can 25khz monitors run 15khz games with groovyame?

Im just asking for a friend, he is triyng to run 15khz games on a 25khz only monitor with a pi4, obviusly the pi cant output 25khz so it gets a triple screen. I wonder, i know groovymame can output med res games, but the question here is, can groovymame run 15khz games on a 25khz only monitor? you know like convert the resolution on the spot? is that posible? thanks for your help.

I would argue it's not ideal. 2x15 > 25 so to do it without stretching vertically you would leave big black borders. I would not think the physical controls would allow you to enlarge the visible picture quite enough. For sure modeline adjustments in software wouldn't get anywhere near it.

i use a crt 25KHZ monitor with groovymame and many others emulator.
Yes i use a lot the stretch option.
