My virtual pinball / retro arcade hybrid.
« on: January 24, 2023, 11:18:15 pm »
Hello all,

I'm working on a dual screen cabinet that has a vertically mounted 32" screen and a USB powered 15" screen as the marquee / backboard. It's controlled with a X-arcade tankstick that's on a pedestal.

I'm trying to work up a dual monitor mount that allows the 32" playfield to be angled (say 60 degrees) with the marquee monitor above it. I'm looking at pre-made metal screen posts, but I'm not sure it they'll allow a vertical / horizontal setup. Any suggestions?

That sounds doable.

Do you want a fixed angle or an adjustable angle for the 32" screen?

If you're interested in an adjustable angle, check out zeorangr's Chimera build

That's an awesome cabinet, but I don't need anything that fancy. I think just a fixed angle since it'll be against the wall with the joystick pedestal in front of it.
