Supermodel Analog Control Help!
« on: November 14, 2022, 06:37:49 pm »
I’ve managed to get my analog joystick working in Supermodel so I can play Star Wars Trilogy but the x axis is the wrong way - pushing left goes right and right goes left… I’ve configured the controller and there’s no option to flip left / right like you can do for the y axis. Any help much appreciated!

UPDATE - think I've found the solution so if anyone has the same issue here's how to fix it:

In your supermodel.ini look for the line: InputAnalogJoyX = "JOY_XAXIS_INV,MOUSE_XAXIS"   ; analog, full X axis

Change this line in include the _INV command which will invert the direction:
InputAnalogJoyX = "JOY_XAXIS_INV,MOUSE_XAXIS_INV"   ; analog, full X axis

I think that will make it the default condition for any new game.  You probably just want to invert that axis in the Analog settings for the games which require it.  That option should be present.
