Hi my friends,
Away8777 does another tutorial for us. Its for vJoy+TeknoParrot. Big thanks to him.

It was a cold frosty morning when I decided to hack/bodge the LED harness into the bezel of my Neoncade, could have done it much neater but you can't see it too much behind the tinted plexi and if you squint ;D
Had some black silicon that's used for outside repairs to fix the LEDs in place, once dry it's pretty hard so they aren't going anywhere, quick test and they work perfectly, will need to to sort out the offsets in the software but that's easy enough :)
(sorry about the blurred pictures)

Nice work!

Do you guys know if the wireless version on that link could work for a distance of 3 meters from a ~120" projector? It'll be a distance/screen size ratio pretty much of 1:1
I read it was recommended 3W IR LEDs, so not sure if that wireless version would be enough.
Having read some of the DIY version you guys have done, I don't have a clue how to do that myself, hence looking for a version already done for a large screen

Hi, it depends on how much solar radiation you have or how many other light sources there are that have IR radiation. Also beware relections from your IR source. The distance depends on which IR tracker you use. I assume the 4 LED tracker with your planned purchase. It is not always easy to say whether it will work at 3m, as there is no exact formula for this. As a backup plan, you can also make a 3d print that uses a lens.
