CRT Emudriver and Raden HD8490 not working
(1/1)
SuperMagoAlex:
Hi guys,
I'm trying to install CRT Emudriver and GM on my Pc Dell 3020 sff|Core i5-4570|8gb|ssd 240GB|Radeon HD8490 1GB| Win10.
The only drivers that correctly recognizes the graphic card is: CRT Emudriver & CRT Tools 2.0 beta 15 (Crimson 16.2.1 non-GCN* cards) for Windows 7/8/10 64-bits, but but when I enable EDID emulation my crt monitor is out of frequency.
If I uninstall the CRT Emudriver, Win10 automatically installs AMD Catalyst 15.201, and if I enable EDID emulation I can see the desktop on my crt monitor, but I can't install super resolutions (rejected by the driver).
Can anyone help me? Thanks in advance! :)

Errr, is the CRT a PC monitor, by any chance? Most PC CRT monitors only take ~31kHz and above (640x480p) and CRT_emudriver is primarily designed for 15kHz output (640x480i or 320x240p). It can work with higher frequencies, but you have it set for Arcade_15 which is definitely 15kHz only.

Hi, yes it's a Sony Trinitron 14" TV.
I solved the problem after 4 or 5 install/unistall Crimson drivers... and finally the image was displayed also on the TV :notworthy:
