MALA v 1.0.1.429 Help with "error reading lcdscreen file!"

When I run the application "Mala.exe" the program begins with the small MALA splash screen, and then an error box appears that says "error reading lcdscreen file!"

I click on the "Close" button (it's the only option in the error box to select).  Then MALA runs fine.....

When I first installed this software years ago, I did not get this error, and now I do.  Not sure what I changed, but now I get the error....
