Green beret on groovymame makes the cumputer restart
« on: July 06, 2022, 11:50:28 pm »
Hey, i was just wondering, this happened to me before, but i though it was my computer, now after installing emudrivers, and latest groovymame, into a new computer, long time after so is not like last time happened on the same system, when i fire up green beret , the computer shuts down and restarts. Its there a way i can post a log to know why it happens? Thanks for your time.

Just to discard a mame config issue, in mame under the input settings > input assignments (general) > other controls there is a key map for power off, check that is not the one you're actually pressing.

Steps to create a log:
 - From command line, run: groovymame.exe -v romname >romname.txt
 - Attach resulting romname.txt file to your post, instead of pasting it.

Hope this helps :) Unfortunately I am no log reading expert, but maybe someone else can support there afterwards.

Tried again o a third system with windows 7 x64, emudrivers, latest groovymame, it does the same, as soon as you choose the game, blue screen, no log seems to be created, or maybe it dosnt save. But if i change the video mode via an ini file, lets say 320x240, game runs just fine, but this one seem to be an odd resolution just as popeye and midway games. Is running fine now, i just thought ill let developers know.
