KORTEK K1-2-VO / K1033-90 V Horizontal Hold Problem
« on: June 25, 2022, 06:59:08 am »
Hello all,

Total newbie with limited knowledge here, trying to fix a problem with a kortek k1-2-vo.

Bought the arcade working fine but when i tried to operate at home nothing happened. After fiddling with the board cleaning etc ive come to a point where i cannot adjust horizontal hold. Screen is moving left and right and my pot seems to be very sensitive even on touch. Maybe a blown cap doesnt let me trim enough?

Now, i took some pictures which seem to indicate a problem with a cap but im sure.

For a start im thinking of changing the pot adjusting the h hold with the one adjusting brightness..?

Any idea of what type of pot should i look for? (specs)

Any other identification/help concerning this chassis would be greatly appreciated

 🙄😀
