  • I want to build my own arcade controls!
Hi!
I have Atom-15 and CRT Emudriver on Windows 7.
I think my question is more about Windows, I want to know if there is a way to disable all video drivers from Windows and keep only Radeon CRT Emudriver?

I like it so much, but I want more safety.

Thank you!

The reason why Windows loads the generic video driver is "safety". It would be pretty hard to use Windows with no video driver at all (you could remote desktop in over a LAN).

Windows won't crash all that often unless you have other problems going on. Just get a VGA compatible monitor, re-install the CRTEMU drivers, and carry on!

Disable Windows Startup Repair

Tip Provided by abispac

1. Open CMD Prompt

2. Run these 2 commands

bcdedit /set {default} recoveryenabled No

bcdedit /set {default} bootstatuspolicy ignoreallfailures

i run this commands as they are usefull as most arcade mame machines, they tend to get disconected or turned off , and with this commands , i never get that anoying problem.

Seems a bit like disconnecting that "annoying" smoke alarm.

Speaking of which, time to change the batteries. Thanks for the reminder!
