is upgrade from 750ti to 1050ti worth it for me?

Hey Guys,

I’m currently running:

W10 pro
i5 2500k
8gb ram
Evga 750ti
Sony 1080p TV

i can get a used EVGA 1050ti card for $70. I was wondering, in terms of emulation performance in terms of Teknoparrot, Demul, MAME, with HLSL settings, Flycast, and the more modern emulators if it is worth the upgrade from the 750ti to the 1050ti. I was also wondering with my old Gen2 Sandy Bridge CPU if there would be any bottlenecking in regards to the more demanding modern emulated games making the upgrade kind of null and void to start with? I've seen conflicting info about this online.

Would picking this card up improve my performance enough with my current old rig to justify the purchase, or am I just better off sticking with the 750ti.

Any help/advice is truly appreciated.

1050ti for $70 used is a great price! I’d get it for sure. Only bottleneck would be your cpu. I still think
It’ll make a difference.. I’m running games at full 1080p but with a 4th gen cpu.. but for $70, it’s well worth a shot as the gpu is a night and day difference.

its worth 70 to upgrade to that. It will shift the bottle neck to the cpu but in time you can get a newer cpu/mobo and just move the GPU over.
