Maximus Arcade at higher resolutions
« on: March 17, 2022, 07:07:33 pm »
Is there any way to get Maximus Arcade to run at "non-supported" resolutions? I've got an 27" Eizo 1:1 aspect ratio monitor that runs at 1920x1920. The highest resolution available from within the MA UI is 1920x1080. When I manually get into the MA config file and change the resolution to 1920x1920, it crashes on startup.

Any workarounds for this?

And PLEASE: don't reply with "find another front end". I've had MA since the early 2000s and it still works fine for my purposes (a MAME cab) other than this resolution problem, and I'd like to avoid switching.

Thanks.

Instead of "find another front end", how about "Isn't 1920x1080p enough already?". Why would you need higher for a MAME cab?
