Anybody have nothis about this "issue"? the Ram Rom check its ok

I'd suspect a dead battery on the board, but really could be anything.

perhaps any socketed chips, give them a push to make sure they are in properly.

Did you check the +5v on your PSU?  Low voltage can cause wacky logic chip failures and this is a power-hungry game.
