Pac-Man Token Holder
« on: February 08, 2022, 12:32:12 am »
A little side project to compliment my Pac-Man Legion build.  Got arcade tokens? What do you keep them in? A box, a tin or other?  I wanted something with novelty that was arcade related and a bit of fun. I came up with this and then figured out a way to make it:

I'm about half way there  :D

Love it!
Videos are superbly done too Ond.
Good on ya.

I might've been lazy and glassed the outside and then poured an ounce of styrene monomer into the foam and sat back and watched it melt.
 :lol

You won't be mad if I steal your idea, will you?
Fun and brilliant.

I have been looking for something to address this issue in the loft for a year now.

Can't wait to see this complete.
Relax, all right? My old man is a television repairman, he's got this ultimate set of tools! I can fix it.

I keep mine in a token dispenser, of course :)

$1 for 4, or push the hidden button to dispense.

Couldn't you just buy a dried gourd, cut out the mouth, and paint it yellow?

How about...

Blow up a balloon, or a light ball, and use fibreglass to mould around the outside. Cut out the mouth part, deflate the balloon/ball, and remove via the mouth.

Like making a mask as a kid. Except with fibreglass.

Watched a vid recently where a guy made a parabolic mirror out of a space blanket and fibreglass like this. Good enough to cook your breakfast with anyway.
