Being Japanese, the cabinet is beautiful work of course.
There are tricky mitres to it, but a proper router table and the right bit would make easy work of it really.
The original execution is flawless.
I'll need to find someone who knows these boards better than I of course.
My guess is the DK Jr isn't nihonjin but who knows.
I wonder what happened to the original SI that it came with!
Looking forward to having the time/space to clean these up and see what needs repair.
It appears most everything does.

This one boots into DK Jr but the screen needs a LONG time to warm up and even still is pretty blurry and weak in the blue.
Major audio issues, and you can (sort of) play it, but oddly Mario never lets loose a single gator.
The Crazy Climber boots into what appears like a frozen test screen- and then nothing.

Maybe before the winter is out I can take one apart and clean it up and see if I can learn how to make it work again.
For now they are just cool to look at.
