Feeling better then now it appears?!  Good to hear.
Geez-
How was Mexico?
Relax, all right? My old man is a television repairman, he's got this ultimate set of tools! I can fix it.

Yes, feeling much better. Mexico was awesome, went diving (to my doctors dismay).  Was the first time I have dove in warm water and it was amazing.

Anyway, been working on the cabinet a bunch this weekend.  Got LED Blinky configured and starting the panel assembly.

Making slow progress.  Between work and doing other fun things, and the fact I hate finishing work (clear coats)...progress is slow.  Hoping to get the last of the 3 control panels done this weekend.  T-molding came in this week so I can wrap the front edge of the panels and get it closer to a finished look.  A few of the last pieces I needed to cut for the cabinet have also been done.

When I did the design of the rotating panel, I did not have all the parts on hand.  I wanted a U360 Flight Stick, but they were out of stock....then I saw the Tron reporoduction sticks and grabbed one.  Also, didnt have a star wars yoke, but when I got both my design was about 1/2" or so off for them both to fit well.  I ended up having to make some adjustments on the fly.  Control panle 3 with the yoke, has a arc cut into it to allow the yoke to rotate the full amount.  Had to also adjust the upper part of the contral panel with a hinge so the Tron stick could clear when rotated.

That being said, I did get the panels finished and wired up today, tomorrow will be testing it out to make sure the wiring is good.

Hope your test is a success.

As long as it actually works and plays well you should disregard everything else and just enjoy the ever-loving crap out of it.

It worked well.  Panel rotates and no tangled wires etc.  The only issues I am having is within the MAME settings itself regarding the device ID's.  My Ultimarc Ultra-stik 360 are identified as 1 and 2 in windows and installed in the typical control panel 1 and 2 locations.  However, MAME insists as using the P2 position as Joy_1 and P1 position as Joy_2.  Tried doing the stable ID configuration, but I can't seem to get it to work.  I could always just reset the config file so MAME assigns all P1 joy to used the Joy_2 and vice versa....but it really irritates me.

Photos of the test setup and how the 4 wires (ipac power, ipac USB, USB hub, USB hub power)from the control panel are routed so the CP can rotate the needed 270 degrees to access the 3 panels.

So long time no post/updates, but to be honest I fell into the trap where you get the cab playable without finishing the wood work and become lazy.  I also fell down the light gun rabbit hole and messed around with trying to get wiimote cameras to work, but didn't have any success.  Fortunately the DFrobot cameras I ordered in January came in and I was able to wire up a gun and mess around with it.  Started with a guncon2 shell, but found a printable case that was easier to work with as it was designed for using a Gun4IR setup.  So rather than work on a cab, CNC'ed my own pcb's and put time into the light gun and it works quite well.  Time to finish the woodworking before the wife gets any more pissed about an unfinished cabinet.

Been busy, been lazy, been sidetracked, etc, etc.  I haven't worked on the cabinet in a while and when I did, I didn't post updates.  Anyway, after messing around with light guns, I made a new gun and working on the second now (Odcon shell with Gun4ir).  Anyway, still need to decide on a marquee and finish the lower panel.  The lower panel will have "holsters" for the guns and then I can call the cabinet complete.  I want to redo the Launchbox setup and separate the options based upon the different CP on the cabinet.

Fantastic project. How big is your CNC, 4x4 or 4x8? just curious, I am pretty close to pulling the trigger on a OneFinity Elite Foreman, which is a 4x4 setup.
