Very High brightness even on the lowest option

Hello and good evening,
I am facing a strange issue with my CRT monitor in the arcade.
i have an intervideo chassis and the issue is that i have very bright image on screen even if i turn the brightness to lowest option on the board.
This causes also the colors to be faded and too bright.
The screen option on the flyback or contrast option does not help. i tried adjust them but with no solution to the problem.
The thing is that when i spray the neckboard with some contact cleaner, the brightness is working normally again and i can correctly adjust it. but only for a minute or 2 while the cleaner lasts.
I think the issue is in the neckboard..
Any help what to do?

corroded crt socket is possible, bad solder joint on crt socket, other bad solder joints on on neck card, bad cap on neck card
I imagine you are spraying the contact cleaner into the crt socket?

first i try spraying the CRT socket but with no better results. then i tried spraying the back of the neckboard and that seems to work. but it last only a minute. then it goes full bright again..

what model intervideo is it?
