btw... your having your cabs milled right?
Is there a minimum cab count on the cuts? IE, starting with 3 4x8s do you end up with the wood for 1 cabinet? Or do you have them all mixed around (so to cut the top panels you do 5 on one sheet?).
If you have it designed one cab per set of wood... you SHOULD be able to do custom orders without much trouble.
I was thinking of that. The two side panels will have to be on separate sheets, there's no way around that. If you laminate both of those, that means you have room for some other major panels to be cut from those sheets. The third sheet could be mainly the unseen panels, and left black.
Adding laminate will add expense, so the standard would probably be black melamine, and colored laminate can be added at an extra charge. Anyway, this is for the other thread...
