anybody have a Wells D9800 monitor manual ?

I'm trying to find a user manual and/or service manual for WG D9800.. or at least I think that's what I have best I can tell from searches.  It has the VGA connection mounted horizontally on the mainboard and there's a jumper JP003 for interlaced/progressive.

its mostly a D9500/9600 but with a 27" tube. i don't think WG ever put out a manual for the 9800 due to it being basically a death curdle release before switching to LCD and then quickly bailing on CRT all together.

99% of the parts are the same, except for some of the big HV poly caps in the horizontal deflection drive tuning circuit. (different yoke than the 18/19) and probably flyback (larger HV for 27 tube).

if you still want something specific, you might have to contact WG directly and ask for the schematic...but they may just give you a parts rev sheet. to use with either the 9500 or 9600 sheet.

awesome, thanks!  as long as the other model is similar enough to get me going that's good enough.  I already downloaded the D9800 schematic which i think you uploaded :) thanks again!

Do you know where I can find a manual for a D9500 or D9600?  I can't find anything newer than D9400 and there's no mention of the JP003 jumper like my monitor has.  On the back of the frame there's a label that says the jumper is to select Interlaced/progressive but the schematic says that jumper is for 15khz or 24-31khz.  So I'm confused.  Is that jumper for frequency range or interlaced/progressive?  Because my understanding is that you can have progressive or interlaced video modes in any frequency range.  Like with 240p or 480i the monitor doesn't really care if it's progressive or not..

the wells gardner site has dropped off google, so searching for wells gardner doesn't really work anymore. you have to manually enter it.

Thank you!   So the jumper actually is just 15khz or 24-31khz..  It doesn't have anything to do with interlaced vs progressive.. although I guess as far as the VGA connector is concerned its only going to do 480i at 15khz.. So maybe that's what they were getting at?   I was hoping this monitor would auto switch but I think 95% of what I want to play is 15khz so I'll just leave it on that.
