Rowe AMI RI-1G rebuild help needed
« on: August 22, 2021, 05:16:48 pm »
Hi
I have a Rowe AMI RI-1G vinyl jukebox that have spent a lot of time on as part of a home restoration project and need some advice on the following items that have started to happen recently :

1) the armature in the middle of the logic controller bottom right front just keeps spinning when I make a record selection and nothing else mechanically happens within the jukebox . I think I may have rotated the central armature with copper fingers on it slightly by mistake when the power was off. Is there a way to reset the logic controller?

2) Prior to this happening the arm would select a record put it on the turn table. The cartridge arm would move over to the record, drop, lift and immediately return to its home position. The arm would then lift the record and put it back in the carrousel. It did not play the record. Any ideas on what’s causing this?

3) is there a way to reset the carousel  so that the button selection made corresponds to the correct record on the carousel?

4) what is the correct needle cartridge for this model and where can I buy one?

Any help would be very gratefully received!

Thank you
S
