Arachnid super 6 help needed

Bought an arachnid super 6 and was told it worked- turned it on and everything lit up but the board would not register any darts. After about 5 minutes on the monitor goes blank. I can turn it off and back on and the same thing happens. I am hoping someone can help. Does this sound like a power supply problem? Maybe a bad capacitor? Are there two seperate issues here? One being the darts not registering and the other when screen goes blank?
