JVL Retro - The Missing Plug (Help)
« on: August 02, 2021, 10:38:20 pm »
I undertook the task of removing the CPU in order to possibly upgrade the software. I was very careful in labeling all of the wires and their connection points - with the exception of one. It's the plug at the bottom of the CPU box. When I pulled the plug, I was quick to label it. Unfortunately, when I was able to reveal where it went - there were three possibilities. Eeeek! See below. Any idea which one of these three identical plugs gets the wire?

If i am not mistaken, I believe they are all tied to the same circuit. Not sure why there is extra connectors. Double check with a multimeter just to be sure though.

Thanks for the reply. I'm not exactly sure how I would use my multimeter to check this. I have only basic knowledge on using my MM (fuse continuity, voltage, etc ).  ::)

continuity is exactly what you should be checking for, like I told you on ebay
