Microswitch adapter for the Namco GunCon lightgun

Hello everyone.
I've recently purchased a PSX lot which included a "non working" lightgun.
It has several signs of a very choppy attempt to be repaired, so the trigger is totally wasted.
I've found this piece at thingiverse, which seems to fit a standard microswitch to align with the trigger.
I'll give it a try and let you know just in case you are in same position as me or maybe want to give a more arcade touch to the home market guns.
