Groovymame and Coinops?
« on: April 20, 2021, 07:50:42 am »
Hey hey! Has anyone here been able to get Groovymame to work well within Coinops? I'm trying to run Diamonds 3 Plus, and while the games launch with Groovymame, they're not running at the right resolutions. They launch correctly straight from Groovymame (and look beautiful).

If anyone has any tips for how to get Coinops to launch Groovymame without adding any of its visual bells and whistles, I'd really appreciate it.

Hello! I went through and tried all the CRT bat files, and they all seemed to do something funky, like adding simulated scanlines or shrinking the display down with fake T-molding on the sides of the screen. I'm kind of at a loss here. I just copied over my mame.ini and Groovymame.exe from my normal Groovymame install, which works great by itself. I just don't know how to disable all the extra visuals within Mame that Coinops is adding.
