Adding extra speakers in parallel would be what to look out for.  That divides the resistance in half causing the current in the circuit to double.  Adding a speaker in series doubles the resistance and lowers the current so each speaker would output half the power of the original.  Total power would be the same.

The bezel artwork is done.

I am ready to send it all to the printer.

I love that they got Balrog's name wrong on the bezel :)

There are a few versions of SF where the announcer says it wrong too.

Nice progress so far.

I changed the button layout on a Neo Geo cab some time ago and it just did not turn out perfect. Now I understand why you just redid it from scratch.

The cab is starting to come to life.
I am waiting for my artwork.
During that time I have wired the power, sound, and video. Hopefully tomorrow I will wire the coin door and controls.

I also need to come up with a shroud for the monitor.

My artwork finally arrived yesterday.

The artwork from Szabo's looks great.

The problem is that it looks too good.

I might have to bump this thing up to a full restoration some day.

I have friends coming to play games this weekend so I will disassemble the CP after that and get the new CPO applied.

I am going to buy some aluminum maybe today so I can make the marquee retainers.

I don't like the plexi bezel so I am going to get quotes on glass.

I will post some pics of the new artwork when I get a chance.

I have been negligent on posting here. Hopefully I can rectify that soon.

I want to write up some JAMMA stuff for people new to the hobby. And some other useful stuff.

Yes we demand pics.   Been anxiously awaiting this one.

Sorry it took so long Howard.

The artwork looks really good. The marquee is too bright I think. Might have to fix that.

My CPO alignment is slightly off. I probably measured wrong somewhere.

The buttons and sticks are not tightened up in that pic. I wanted to make sure everything was wired correctly first.

I just have to tighten everything down and put the rest of the carriage bolts in.

This thing needs a shroud eventually and some other work, but that is a future me problem.

This is the janky cab. It plays great and that is what matters right now.

I picked up a Jail Break PCB. That is what is playing right now. Before that I was playing 10 Yard Fight.

I have guests coming this weekend so SFII CE is going back in the cab today.
