WG 25” K7191 horizontal size issue
« on: April 14, 2021, 11:05:56 pm »
I have this monitor that is working fine except for the horizontal size, image is a little narrow, like 1 inch smaller on both edges.
I did a cap kit on it and reflowed some cold solder joints that were giving problems.

Now, this is a doubt I have, the monitor is in a Sega Rad Mobile cabinet, so the original isolation transformer is delivering 100v ac. B+ is 120v and 128v measuring both sides of the big resistor.
Is it possible that the image is narrow because it needs 120v ac, and 100vac is not enough?

Forgot to mention that adjusting the width coil made very little improvement.
Thankss

100vac is too low for this chassis, b+ should 130v
