GroovyMAME 31Hz CRT Monitor - Scanline Settings???

Hi, I'm using a 31hz CRT monitor and configured it for super resolutions.
Everything works fine but I can't figure out how to configure mame.ini when the resolution is doubled.
For example with 320x240 games the doubled resolution of 640x480 is used.
Since the result is quite square, I added the scanlines.png effect which, however, does not seem particularly realistic.
Is there any other solution or is this the best?
