Small update today, got the hardware installed on one hood - lining up these coin mech chutes to work consistently is a b*tch. I can't imagine being an operator back in the day and relying on these things. Anyway, it's looking good. |

Quick update this morning. Got some of the electronics in, like power supply and power cord. The new power cord is a bit shorter than the old but in much better shape. Decided to use a rubber grommet to hold it in, instead of the original plastic strain relief. Much easier to take in and out now - but a little less protected too. Started putting the harness back too, and decided to mark all the connectors with either an M or S (sub or main side) because boy-howdy is it confusing where everything goes when there's two of everything. Continuity test and the original schematics helped me line everything up though. |
