Arcade Marquee Shelves

Saw some online and decided to give it a shot with some scraps I had. I was going to put up some plain shelves for some Legos but figured shelves with marquees of games I like would be much better. Waiting on a spray tent to spray paint them so I won't make a mess with over spray like I did with another project. Saw one on etsy going for over $100 and was like geez no way in hell these are worth over $100..and for shoddy work too.

Thinking of spraying them with a textured black with red t-moulding.

Was thinking of using french cleat to mount them but they seem kinda bulky. Maybe using a thinner wood would be better. Not fond of punching big holes in walls.
