The Monitor case comes with the monitor, it is a big steel box, it was beige in color, I sprayed it black.
Since the top section is only 12" deep I think your TV will work fine, I have measured my 32" TV and the case is about 11" before it starts going back to a cone.
Just make the back boards that come in from the side meet up with the back of your TV.
I think it should work out fine, also when your building it make the Monitor box (the whole top part of the pedestal) to size perfect with your TV.

okay, another question for you.  what kind of speakers do you have (cheap/expensive) and how many do you have?  also, are 2 speakers enough for a showcase cab?  im debating on putting 4 in, 2 on the monitor part, and 2 on a attachment for the cp, but if i can get by with 2, id rather do that.

I use a 3 speaker system, 2 up in the monitor housing and 1 sub woofer that sits on the L part of the cab in the back, below the monitor.                 I use Altec Lansing Model# XA3021 system, and would strongly recommend it to you! You can find them on Ebay or I buy mine at a local store here in town. they are about $40.00 for the set. They also have a very nice controler that comes with it for Volume and bass control, it mounts nice on your Cab.

well ive got some Boston speakers that i bought a few years ago that are really, and it comes with a sub as well.  i may just use that.
