Light gun - flexible wire conduit option?
« on: March 11, 2021, 02:16:11 pm »
Hi guys,

A few years ago I outfitted some Unico guns with optical sensors and recoil solenoids. They came with flexible wire conduit to hide the usb wiring that I had rigged up. Only problem is, the conduit isn't long enough to get a user far back enough to properly utilize the guns (the optical sensors need more distance).

I ended up getting some AimTrak guns, which have super long cords, but I never really liked how they felt as much as the Unico guns. I was wondering if anyone has any ideas/options/sources for a type of flexible conduit to hide my USB wires from the guns. I assume there is some kind of source out there... I just don't know what.

Any ideas or input would be fantastic.

Thanks!

Lots of people use shower hose.
You can buy proper flexible conduits of varying brands.
Flexicon, Copex etc but you will prob struggle to get one small enough for what you want.
