WTB: Star Wars Yoke Mount
« on: January 29, 2021, 06:01:54 pm »
I'm looking for someone to make a mount for my GRS Yoke.  I'd like something similar to this:  http://forum.arcadecontrols.com/index.php/topic,161111.msg1697573.html#msg1697573

I looked at the 3d printer model but it's way too expensive.

I know some people will say "just build one yourself."  But I'm not too proficient with power tools.  I  once built a bird house that ended up being condemned by my town's housing authority.

PM me if you're interested in the job.

@Lamaman1971

A guy on facebook sent me this plan for a mount.  A coworker is making it for me:

@evh347

I sent the plans to jawtsec.com to print it for me.  They were fast and I thought it was affordable.

What material did you use for the 3d Print?

I had jawstec.com print it for me. So I don’t know the material. They may mention it on their website

That site mentions a number of different materials.

Do you have an order confirmation e-mail from them?
- It probably lists the material and finishing options you selected.

They used MJF Nylon 12.  I did not pick it.  I don't know if it was in the schematics or ifthey just picked it on their own.

Yeah, thats the default material choice and seems like the most sensible one based on price/sturdiness.
