Sudden split screen output.
« on: January 21, 2021, 10:38:22 am »
My Groovy-Mame rig was setup here on these forums and was working great.
When I fired her up this morning after a couple of months I'm now suddenly getting split screen output at the monitor.
Its been so long since I set this thing up I don't really know where to start so I'm hoping someone who's still got it fresh in their mind can help me troubleshoot this issue. I'm stuck in the house for quarantine so any help would be greatly appreciated! If there's an other information I can provide don't hesitate to ask.

From what I can see under display in windows the display is ARCADE_15_25_  (which I'm assuming is because its a tri-sync monitor)
and the resolution shows as 640x480(recommended)

Firing up groovymame and loading Real Bout Fatal Fury Special, I can see some information that may be useful. but again, the screen is still split.

All fixed.

I broke down the video signal path from the card to the monitor. Re-seated the DVI connector, cut and stripped clean new wire connections at the utlimarc video amplifier and reseated the cable at the monitor. Rebooted and everything synced up.

Glorious! Thanks for all who looked in :)
