Arcade 1up - 2021 Midway Legacy Cabinet

Everyone is entitled to think however they like, but that's an old fashioned way to think. Clutching on to the past. Combining games for home arcades is a great idea for most users to save electricity, money, reduce complexity, and save space. If someone prefers 100% authenticity and wants to have a dozen full size arcade machines over a single machine, go for it. More power to them.
And lets not forget, some of the "real deal" manufacturers released combo machines like Galaga\Ms. Pacman, Golden Tee\Silver Strike Bowling. Multi-Choice, and Donkey Kong\Donkey Kong Jr,\Mario Bros.
Galaga\Ms. Pacman So, "one coin, on game" isn't a golden rule or anything.

I'll go on record as saying I don't care for how far the marquee is set back. The reveal of the cabinet sides is too much. To me it screams "consumer grade" and just doesn't help the machine look substantial. Also, if that's a decal for the coin door, they would do better to not do anything than use a coin door sticker. I think a non-functioning plastic mold coin door would be their best option, if they are going to try to do a coin door at all.
I actually own the 1st wave pf this machine. It's in my kids playroom, which is funny if you think about how far we've come. Mortal Kombat caused a stir in the 90's for being overly violent and today it's in my 8 and 10 year old daughters playroom with a list of fatalaties. It's a good machine, that plays MK well. I'm pretty good at 2 and 3 and don't have an issue with it. I prefer it to my mame cabinet with the 6 button SF layout.

super breakout had 3 different versions on it originally.
so, it's not like it was a new thing back in the 70s.

That one is on me. I mistakenly thought you were making a case for dedicated machines, not a single dedicated machine just for Defender. Defender is a special case, and I agree. It can really only be combo’d with Stargate.
