CRT Emudriver and Fightcade 2 - Am I stuck with GroovyMame?
« on: January 11, 2021, 01:54:17 am »
Hi everyone, first of all I apologize if this is not the right session, feel free to move this thread if I made a mistake.

I have a question: I am running CRT Emudriver on my TV, with GroovyMame, and it runs perfectly, with pixel-perfect resolution and sync.
But is there a way to use Fightcade 2 instead of GroovyMame? I can run it from windows on my TV, but like Windows, it runs at 640x480@60Hz, and obviously its not correct.
If I try to set the Fullscreen resolution to Arcade, the screen goes black, because I don't think the TV can run at 384 x 224 or similar resolutions.

I tried asking for help on the Fightcade Discord, but nobody replied. :-\
Can anyone help me?

Most the emulators used by Fightcade are not switchres compatible. NullDC is. FBNeo is but it's still in beta. I have no idea what steps that would need to be taken to get that set up and working.
