Berzerk Repair - LED Flash Help
« on: November 21, 2020, 11:12:52 pm »
Manual is not very helpful here. A little background first..

Bought a partial set of boards to snag a Berserk ZPU board so I could swap out a Frenzy ZPU-1001 as a present for family. To make things difficult, I do not have access to a sound board or the cabinet it will be installed but I have access to all the bench test equipment I could ever need.
Basically, the Berserk manual is terrible explaining the flashes. On pressing reset, I get a long single flash followed by 2 quicker flashes... No sound to verify (No sound board). I am wondering which test have passed... have I made it through the ZPU RAM tests and should now be looking at the BSC board (which I was planning on repairing along with VFB as spares).

I included a video of the led flashes

If you have a cabinet or experience, please let me know where I am at in the repair process.
