Enjoying a fully licensed akka arrh today on arcade1up.



Never thought i would see this happen, but the atari copyrights are there....



green glow is from Glens trackball, so i can actually play games, stock one is terrible.



the tape on the screen is the killspot for centipede, will be going for 999k to max it out.

got my ms pac man 8-1 and centipede 8-1 today:

 

First look - Centipede 8-1 HSN Partycade

- original trackball very poor of course, played for 2 minutes, and then swapped out for Glens Retro Trackball

- Crystal Castles and Akka Arrh (Prototype) are fun to play, good additions

- They 'FIXED' the gameplay of Super Breakout, and Avalance, and now you have precision control over left and right. Of course now you're playing with a trackball instead of a spinner though.

- buttons are average, but should be replaced also.

Centipede 8-1 HSN Partycade - Super Breakout WORKS PROPERLY (used Glens Retro Trackball) 561


Sound is a little messed up, but is proper in game.

- Super breakout works properly with the settings, although it is a trackball

- you can precisely move left and right, as normal, instead of discrete spots which was wrong on the Asteroids partycade with spinner

- i modded it to use Glens Trackball properly

- scored 561

- you can only play progressive mode, and not normal or cavity versions



Centipede 8-1 HSN Partycade - Avalanche WORKS PROPERLY (used Glens Retro Trackball) 452

Modded Centipede 8-1 [HSN] Avalanche works, with Glens Retro Trackball
Score - 452 [2 past extend]
Original game used a spinner.
Movement is correct, and you can precisely aim the paddles.



Arcade 1up - Centipede 8-1 - Crystal Castles (2 games) Warp2,3 - 438K
- Used Modded Glens Retro Trackball

- Played 2 games, and used all warps, 1-3-5

- Got to level 7 Pyramid

- Still need to get used to speed of trackball for game, as I was overspinning it at times.

here's play up to 999,990 on the new ms pac-man 8-1 partycade.

 


the patterns should work on all Arcade 1up new versions with

the easy settings at extra's at 10k,40k, and every 40k.

 

i played very sloppy, and died on the first level. after that it was ok,

until about 500k, lost several men there. and then made it up to 990k,

and killed off the rest of the men, at 999,990.

 

will play until the killscreen next time maybe:
