Batman in Teknoparrot
« on: November 06, 2020, 04:33:47 pm »
Has anyone here got Batman running well in Teknoparrot?

Mine loads ok and lets me start a game but them crashes after 10-20 seconds. Is there something specific that needs to be changed in settings to make this game run?

I'm trying to figure out if my issue is inadequate hardware or user error. Has anyone else here experienced issues with this title?

I finally managed to get it working. I had to turn on Vsync in the Nvidia control panel for this game for some reason.

I was testing on my old workstation laptop with a Quadro K5000m gpu. I guess there is something in that game that my GPU couldn't handle.

Is this the racing game where you can win without touching the steering wheel?  I think I played this turd in Dave and Busters in the before time.

The auto accelerator in Batman and Mario Kart DX was useful for my 4-year-old as he couldn't reach the pedals. It's not for adults.

I doubt you could get far without steering in Batman though, unless it was on free play. You'd crash and destroy the car and there is no way I'd pay for a 2nd credit. A second game is unappealing even when free...

The difficulty level is just one problem with Batman IMO. It's just no fun at all. The controls are terrible. Trying to steer and aim a gun with the same controller is just awkward. The missions are all ridiculous too. Diffuse this weapon by typing this code into the keypad... If feels more like doing your tax return than playing a game...

Apparently, making a decent Batman arcade is beyond the wit of man. This one is Batman only in name. The game is more like a bad sequel to Lucky n Wild except without the gun controller to aim.

The cut scenes in it were surprisingly well done though. The guy playing the Joker was doing a pretty good Mark Hamill impression.
