Cannot access user profiles / send messages

New user here. I have the search problem that's reported here and working around using Google. Trying to connect with users, but if I click on a username, I get "An Error Has Occurred!
You are not allowed to access this section."

Could be a profile creation problem since I didn't see anyone else report that, or it could be known - any known workaround?

Now that your first post has been approved, your account has been auto-upgraded to "Jr. Member" -- you can now view user profiles and send PMs.   :cheers:

I was wondering why I couldn't access to that either... I tried to find something in the rules but nothing.
I guess there's no "welcome" topic? Or couldn't find one  :dizzy:

i think once you have a half dozen or so comments/posts, being able to pm and stuff will unlock for you.

Users only need one approved post for their account to auto-upgrade to "Jr. Member" which unlocks viewing user profiles and sending PMs.
