My add-on steering wheel / 720 cabinet is just about done...just some minor issues left. What do you guys think?

Super Sprint had 3 steering wheels.
Championship Sprint had 2.

Yes I know. But you can play Super Sprint with two wheels can't you???  I liked the graphics better!  When I have my 720 control panel up there it won't match either...

Its a bit of a reach for the joysticks.  You must be 6.5 feet tall.

What's going on in the center panel of the steering column?

You don't use the joysticks to play driving games.  I don't understand your question about the center panel. The steering wheels are attached to two aluminum housings that sit atop the control panel...

Walmart is having a sale on tvs in a few days..... do yourself a favor and turn that into a proper dedicated cab instead of awkwardly sitting a podium in from of an existing machine that already has a fairly deep control panel.

I'm just trying to help.  The craftsmanship looks great but that setup is kind of awkward.  I think you'd have more fun with it if it were set up like a proper Super Sprint, or better yet Off-Road.

We do tend to be tougher critics here. It pushes me to do better work.

It seems like a lot of the newer people that post here are looking for validation and praise rather than constructive criticism.

If you can get past that you will get good solid advice here. It is up to you to decide what to use and what to discard.

It is your project. I hope to see more of your work.

LOL. I'm not offended, wasn't looking for a pat on the back. In a perfect world I would have just bought a Super Sprint! Which is what started me down this road in the first place! I figured it was way too expensive for one game. So I bought the Mame cabinet. After it was up and running, I'm like damn, can't play Super Sprint..... In my not so perfect world space is a premium. I'm not going to build full cabinets for every game that my original cab can't play. That's insane! So I did this. It's not too big (36" H x 36" W x 24" D) and it plays awesome! It's designed to have interchangeable control panels (already have 720 set up) next is Spy Hunter! Thanks for the input.

I have always wanted a Super Sprint. I bought a Championship Sprint as a place holder. Both games are a lot of fun.

I definitely hear you... there are so many cabinets I want but my stupid 10x10 room just doesn't work.  Unfortunately I don't think I'll ever have a driving cabinet so good that you could figure something out that works for you.

The kid on the right is playing the way it's supposed to be played. Whip that wheel around. Nice.
