Wiring Extensions For IPAC Ultimate
« on: October 23, 2020, 02:33:35 pm »
I'm close to finishing a new control panel, but I neglected to correctly measure the distance from my IPAC Ultimate to my 2-player stick. :-[

I have the correct size of spade connectors and several types of wire. Will 22 AWG wire be okay for some M<->F extension wires?

Sure it will.   ;D

Anything 30AWG or larger will work for inputs as long as it is stranded *not solid* so you can make a solid mechanical and electrical connection with the appropriate size QDs.

Most people will use between 24AWG and 20AWG since those are easy sizes to work with and less likely to break than smaller wire sizes.
