Golden Tee display not working
« on: October 20, 2020, 12:46:57 am »
I have a 2005 Golden Tee Fore! Complete with a display that has gone out again. I've had the game for four or five years and it was mostly working when I bought it but after having it moved here (a little roughly) the display was not working - I could hear the game running but was getting a No Signal detected" or "check signal input message" (I can't recall which) on the display.  I had someone in to fix it then, but recently after having to move it around again I am getting the same issue. I would like to try and fix myself this time, if possible, (I have maintained and fixed my pinball for 20 years but have not done video games), but understand this is a a 15 year old tube display.  I did look at the video card and everything seems connected and not loose and the same for the back of the monitor.  In case it means anything: on the main board the two activity lights are both blinking green, however on the line-up of four red lights near the Status 2 light only the one marked D77 (DTR) was on and it is a solid red.  The monitor is a big old Samsung A68QBT892X.  I'm not looking to put much more money in the machine (i.e., replacing with a LCD or newer screen) so am wondering if anyone has suggestions on what I should be looking for to see if I can this monitor back up.  Thanks!

Sorry not much help here. But have you tried to plug it into another tv/monitor? Just to confirm it is the monitor and not something else.
