I completely gave up on hoping remakes of anything will ever be any good a long time ago.
There is no reason to believe this won't suck balls.
I hope I am wrong.
Let me know.

Fingerprints?  ;D

Thought it was going to be on cartoon network though.

I look forward to it.
I will pay for Hulu just long enough to watch it and get caught up on Letterkenny.

EDIT: might was well post the reference

I sang the theme song in front of the kids.
Saw first few episodes.
Its animaniacs.
They need to take about 15% off the political stuff, but Otherwise I'm enjoying it.

Pinky and the brain is the best part for me.

At the rest of sending this to post heck...
Why do cartoons have to have political junk mixed in? Let kids grow up and form their own decisions.

Romper Stomper: There's two kinds of kids, kids who like Animaniacs and kids who don't like Animaniacs, so which one are you?
Cartman: Well, personally, I ...don't like Animaniacs?
Romper Stomper: Neither do we!

Animaniacs has always had political humor.  The new show has exactly the same amount.  Also kids don't get to form their own opinion.... their parent's drill it into them early, thus why the fine people at warner bros. are trying to circumvent that.  The "political" jokes are extremely tame.... I think the harshest one was Trump (depicted as a cyclops, long story) being depicted as a hideous creature with ugly, unnaturally orange skin.  I don't think you have to be politically oriented one way or another to notice that, you just need a working set of eyes.  It's that kind of humor... that guy is funny looking.... that one talks funny, ect.

The new show is fantastic....it feels very much like the old show.  Pinky and the Brain are the stars of the show, but of course they always were imho.  About the only bad thing I can say about it is they ditched all of the secondary characters except for ralph, dr. scratch-n-sniff and pinky & the brain.  I'm sure there were budgetary reasons behind that decision as the old cast was frikkin huge.

Interesting. I've never watched it, but did they ever do a show that grossly mis-represented Obama? And I think warner brothers is a very poor teacher of children, just as any filthy rich conglomerates would be.
Id rather children be taught by their parents.

I laughed out loud several times in the first episode. My adult kids watched it with us which was cool.  They were "getting" the adult jokes this time around which was fun since they didn't when they were kids.  They just thought it was silly fun back then.

I wasn't keeping score but it seemed like they were skewering all sides of the political spectrum.

my kids are 12 & 14 so i had to explain a few things to them.
the bit from WOW they got with pinky and the brain.
that was funny.
it's the little things that make me watch the show.

No, but they haven't mis-represented anyone... ever.  If you think they have it's you whom are mis-representing people.  They do over-exaggerate the features of every single celebrity... his features just happen to be all ugly.  If you look at Trump and think "boy that's a handsome man" and not "dear god what is wrong with that guy he looks awful" you sure must be drinking that particular flavor of kool-aid that induces blindness.

I find it hilarious that you think the "filty rich conglomerates" would resurrect a 30 year old show just to target children with propaganda.  Must be part of that lizard men deep state conspiracy right?  So long as they make money they could care less.  It's the writers, whom I assure you are not rich, that add in any social commentary.

I've found that people whom accuse stuff of "getting political" actually mean "those people expressed an opinion I didn't agree with so I have to use a term to dismiss it".  Yeah that ain't gonna work.  It's only "getting political" when a politician says it.

I love how you think you are coming across as objective. Keep going. Tell me more about how you think people who see the 2nd largest studio in the world cashing in on nostalgia and trying to scrape together relevance by injecting politics as being the level of insanity on par with believing in lizard people.
