Need Golden Tee help
« on: September 26, 2020, 01:01:02 am »
Just bought used Golden Tee machine. It appears to be Fore! Complete. Upon turning it on the old tube monitor appears dead. Plan to replace with led monitor. After turning it on a second time the power supply decided to smoke so that needs replacing. After these repairs I’m lost. Seller stated they thought it needed a new motherboard. I don’t know if I want to replace or upgrade. Does HHD need replacing too? There’s so much inside I can’t figure out what components or parts are in this thing. Any advice/suggestions greatly appreciated.

Theres a few great post on here of what tells you that can be wrong with your system. New motherboards you can sometimes get cheap but they are getting harder and harder to find. If your HDD is good then it shouldnt need replacing. But yes their is alot of stuff involved in my opinion. But also it might be cheaper for you to go with a PC or maybe even a Raspberry Pi to emulate golden tee Fore. Dont get me wrong original cabs are great.

Lilshawn is usually the man for these things.
